Four rules that never fail
Build from the base
Spray the heavier, resinous scent first and let it settle. Lighter citrus and florals sit on top without being smothered.
Share a note
Two fragrances that both carry vanilla, iris or cedar will blend rather than argue. One shared note is usually enough.
Two is plenty
Three or more fragrances tend to flatten into a blur. Keep it to a pair and adjust the ratio instead.
Test on skin, not paper
